Iran Official Slams the Smuggling of Toys and Dolls into the Country
Batman, Barbie, Spider-Man, and Harry Potter toys, dolls, and video games are not welcomed in Iran. One Iran Official declared that they are destructive culturally and a social danger. He said this in reaction to the fact that these items are being smuggled into Iran.
For the past six years, Tehran has launched an unsuccessful campaign to confiscate Barbie dolls. However, Barbie is still coming into the country via smuggling.
